Skyfall

Author: helig

The water mutes the noises of chaos as I close my eyes and feel that unfamiliar coolness envelop me, minor 5ths playing out in my head

Numbers play out in the stillness as I wait for my lungs to scream, fast losing sight of my reflection in the water surface. Bubbles rise up like schizophrenic regrets.

At the ends of vision in the faded gray feary dragons prance, amidst bleeding target boards of 2-dimensional enemies. The very water seems to bleed

memories of disproportionate emotions, condensing in missed buses and leaving planes and steely cutlery knives as cold as restaurant conversations.

I made the mistake of looking up the very sky swooped to strangle me it crumbled into a bed of dust.
