By the time they got back to headquarters, the Loaner was ready, and Josh couldn't resist a chuckle.

"Somehow, I was expecting a Yugo."

"No, we aren't that cruel." a technician replied as she inserted the holocube into the waiting socket. Fox came to life once more with a groan.

"Well, look at it this way, at least it's a pretty car under all the rust, and it's GOT to be more reliable than the car that it's meant to look like. There's no way they'd give someone a body with seventies Lancia reliability." he quipped, as he slid into the driver's seat of Fox's new body.

"It's a rustbucket!" Fox snapped in reply. The low-slung car was dented and dinged, every panel perforated with rust, but at least after a ripple, the paint had gone to Fox's signature silver, if faded.

"It's a Lancia Beta Montecarlo, otherwise known as the Scorpion. Styling by Pininfarina, just like a Ferrari. If only they hadn't made them out of cheapo Soviet steel. So, what now, we put this thing through it's paces, see what it can do?"
