Reformed

Deeper into the center the smallest of pieces still breaking the light gathers as it transforms once more. Receding from the edges of birth-destruction the light gathers and pulls the edges of what's left together and the pressure from her eyes. The pops and swirls of breaking matter form back into the light in front of her, unblurring, her eyes see the computer screen wink to life before them and she surfaces with a breath. She moves her fingers to the key board and hesitates, watching the tears pool onto the letters.
