Internal systems showed her intact, at full power, but on her side. External systems revealed vegetation beneath her, two idling sedans within 10 meters, 5 heat sources within 5 meters, and an ambient temperature of 63 degrees.

With a thought, she brought up her visuals. Dawn peaked over a nearby school, glinting off of play structures. Four men in dark suits were standing over a small, limp body, glancing this way and that while holstering bulky weapons. _Ident confirm initialized_ The body was Rae, vitals on the low side of normal but stable. The men were not law enforcement.
