Exactly How I Decided to Join Ficly
"I think I want to write things."
"Whut. Like fur realz?"
"You're an inner voice, not a LOLcat."
"Well, one of us has to be fun and interesting!" The voice paused. "And you didn't even say "fur realz" right."
"I am _so_ not boring."
"_Of course_ you're not. Comparing Christian Kane and Aldis Hodge to Batman is a real page turner."
"Bitch," I said under my breath.
"I heard that!" The voice said, (adj.). "How's that diet going?"
Ignoring the slight, I continued my declaration. "As I was saying. I'm going to start writing stuff. Original stuff."
"No more mushy Inuyasha fanfiction?"
I flushed. "We agreed my past as a fanfic writer was off limits!"
"Fine, fine. So what are you going to be writing? Novels?" the voice asked, conveying hipster-like disinterest.
"No, nothing that ambitious. I thinking 1024 characters, give or take."
"Huh. Well, I'm sure you'll find a place; the internet has everything."
"One can only hope."
