I, Monster

A monster lurks inside me, it's watching, it's waiting.

A monster hides within me, it grows hungry, it's impatient.

A monster stirs beneath the surface, it's eyes burning, it's fists clenching.

A monster walks among you, it smiles wide, it is alive.

The monster has done evil, therefore I have done evil.

The monster has devoured my soul, it's anger, hate, and pain has taken it's toll.

My will has been broken, as the gate lies open.
