Let's Rewind (Ramblings, Part 5)

I constantly find myself wanting to go back. I want to change the past upon the basis of current knowledge, to live in a nostalgic utopia where happiness is consistent and perfect love is normal. I want to live in the "good old days", when life never changes and everything is a melancholic contentment. I realize this is but a fantasy, yet how do I manage to live in the past? Is progress, the passing of time, simply a hindrance? I cherish, yet resent the fashion in which I refuse to move on.
