I wonder where your freckles went because they aren't on your face anymore.

Maybe you left them by the swimming pool after you hit your head and had to get stitches for the first time.

Maybe you left them in my pocket after I held your hand while you puked after you got your first tattoo.

I hope I didn't lose them!

Or maybe they fell off as we jumped on the trampoline and waited for the sun to set before we went inside.
