City Smog
City smog. People walk by. Huddle together. Hoping that someone may care for them.
They stop, and cars go by, they go. Someone gets mugged, but everyone keeps Going, And Going And. . . .
Poor man huddled in. . . . trash calls out for money for food life. No one stops
He cries One soul stops, Scrutinizing, Empathetic and sad Drops a couple bills. Hundreds. The man thanks him for his hospitality. . .
The old man Walks. . . away. . . He goes and gets the purse. . . he just mugged. Goes to the nearest store. Alcohol. Walks out. Doesn’t stop To look for cars.
Car goes by. People go. Someone gets mugged, but everyone keeps Going, And Going, And. . . .
