In Case You've Forgotten

Author: remembrancer

Dealing with a broken heart Is like weathering a storm A fog of guilt conceals all confidence While shame howls at the door Self-control’s beneath the covers With dignity cowering right beside And yet like every storm it passes A new light will surely shine

But I thought it would be nice To remind those who might care That broken hearts are really painful But unlike storms they’re yours to bear
