(Day 5) Know the Symptoms

"There's some'in wrong wi' this," she said, staring intently at the screen, hands knotted between her legs.

Behind her, her friend and sometimes lover, Daniel, turned in his chair to look over her shoulder. "What's up?"

"Tha's just the probl'm." Her voice sounded strange, slurred. Strange, but then again they _had_ been drinking. It had been a long night. "The lines r'n't convergin' yet all the dimensions r'correct."

He ran his eyes over the numbers and grunted. "Yeah, I see it. Here," he said, moving his hands around her side to type out a few commands on their illegally obtained copy of AutoCAD. In a few seconds the schematic rotated in a false three dimensional space and he could see three of the line segments she had placed were moving completely in the wrong direction - an 'x' instead of a 'z' direction.

He chuckled, turning to Felicity. The look on her face stopped him mid-laugh. "Jesus!"

Daniel stood, grabbed his phone and dialed 911. "...Hello? Yes, ohmyGod, my friend's having a stroke...!"
