Row, Row, Row Your Boat

His last mad utterance urged me to think back in time, but I couldn't believe what fell into place. "...but how---You can't be..." I muttered. Taking a long hard look into his eyes, I saw the truth. He decimated my disblief, "your brother." Mouth agape, dropping my crap around my car, I was too stunned to even move to hug him. He continued, "No, _not just_ your brother anymore, Cameron. I'm beyond human." The manic laughter started up again. "STOP! I have so many questions, where do I even start?" I continued thinking a mile a minute, *What did he mean beyond human, When did he return, Where has he been, How did he wind up this way, Why was he abducted?* Eerily, Clay's laughter stopped and he sank into sorrow, "My plight on the rooftop that night was being selected to see my desires realized. But I soon found, questions, when answered _for better or worse_, invariably lead to more questions." I didn't know how to respond. "I need to know more---" Lightly sobbing, he extended a hand, "Good, then come with me."
