Resilient.

Author: OpenSkies

Do you think that you can break these walls? They're made of a material some kind of material that is indestructible unbreakable invincible constant and unrelenting. Stronger than cement, Resilient and, truthfully, quite daunting.

Why aren't you scared of my walls? Why aren't you turning away? You know, the purpose of these walls is to keep out gentlemen like you. You poke and pry and ask and worry and care.

*Stop.* Stop caring. Stop bringing me in. Stop consoling me and holding me and making me feel safe. I can feel myself getting comfortable and content and potentially _happy_ with you.

Why are you doing this to me? You know I always end up hurt and dead and gone. It takes a lot and I don't know if I have the strength or the courage or the motivation to pick myself back up one more time.

You made me look into your eyes. You said, "Do you trust me?" I don't know what I saw there something indescribable; incandescent. Something to trust in. But can you please promise me that I won't get hurt?
