Ladies In Vials

Author: Ariah Oak

Sometimes, I forget to take the medication prescribed to me by the lovely doctor from down the hall. The walls wiggle like jello, and the people moving past me speak like they have six marbles in their mouth. (I am always impressed they do not choke). And my movement does not happen fluidly, but rather in short spasms or slow motion replays. That's when I start to scream and lash out against my own flesh. That's when the doctor rushes out of his office and slams my fragile body to the ground, shoving needles in every bare inch of my skin.
