Lo-la la

Author: Ambrosia Dawn

I cocked a grin before downing the last dregs of the dark elixir from my glass, like music in my veins. I followed her with my eyes a moment before my legs remembered how to work, swaying my head very slightly as the treble of silver sax marked the sway of her hips.

Her back slammed against the door as she pulled me close, my arms wrapping around her to caress the bare skin of her back. Her mouth sought mine and then mine sought her perfumed throat, Lola tilted her head to invite my kisses. Then it was sheets, sheets, skin, sweat and passion. The rest of the night was a blur and I couldn't give much more detail if I tried but when I woke, something was missing.

The unwelcome light filtered through a broken shade, my hand came up to shield my eyes but the light kept coming. Grunting, I struggled to sit up and opened my eyes to hear the sound of running water, a tank refilling post-flush. Closing my eyes it stopped. But I could still 'see' the sunlight. "What the?" I could see sound and hear with my eyes?
