Happy New Year
And so the New Year comes again, emerging like an unmet friend. A face we do not recognize yet known for that which it implies. A second chance, a choice anew, a testament of time that flew away from grasping, desperate hands of souls that cry for promised lands. Potential stares us in the eyes. The past is ushered to the skies.
But what of that which came before? The year forgotten, we ignore the history of choices spent. No record where the hours went. No memory of things that were. The moments speeding to a blur of lost and broken artifacts, our recollection unintact. The resolutions we present dismiss the ones already sent.
So Happy New Year, one and all. Remember that this yearly call not only heralds things to come, but also shows the final sum of actions, words, and choices made. Impressions of the past are stayed and fixed with lessons dearly learned. The shining future, while unturned, illuminates the past so we may live with greater clarity.
Happy New Year
