Desert Sequence

Author: Snowy Owl

As I walked in the arid, dry desert I could feel the penetrating sand sting my tender skin. I had only recently dropped everything and moved here to get this over with.

I kept walking, unwillingly dealing with the unpleasant feeling of perspiration consuming my shirt. When I finally reached my destination I felt as if I were the butterflies that were taking over my insides: the knotted, unnerving feeling that increases your heart rate and makes you want to slither away into a ice cold puddle of water.

As soon as I viewed the gruesome sight I _bandained_ in the direction of home. What could I do now?
