As I Lay Frozen.

Author: cathy1993

My angel carries me, we soar and we fly. Swooping high above the vast sea. Strong arms to protect. Strong arms to reassure.

As we fly over a dense forests, he cradles me closer. He’s going to save me, taking me far away.

We’re safe, the feeling of ecstasy succumbs me. Thrill of the flight. Thrill. I feel no fear, despite the dizzying height at which we soar. So many colours. True happiness.

The dreams protect me. Protect me from reality. My reality. Cold reality. The secure room is my reality.

No colour. No forest. No sea. Blank nothingness. The whiteness is not pure. Not like my angel.

I lie frozen.

Frozen in my perfect hallucination. I fly.
