Name That Tune, Author's Note

I ask you, as a riddle - what song inspired me to write this scene? I will only say that it is NOT a direct phrasement of the song. It is an extrapolated analogy, one that speaks to the song's application throughout the ages.

And yes, I have strange thoughts on songs. When I listen to Forgiven by Alanis Morissette, I think of the Hulk. When I listen to the opening titles to Beetlejuice, I think of a midnight train robbery. When I listen to Hit The Road, Jack, I think of a devil similar to that in Needful Things, roving from town to town bringing his evil to bear on new victims.
