_She's awful young_ they say But time and again I prove myself to be mature, hard working

I traveled overseas quite a few trips I came back with not a scratch only romantic dreams

I went to school picked a career didn't work out bounced back, flourished

I married and multiplied most think us doomed ten years going strong

My words ignored unsolicited advice abounds I've loved, lost, moved on, made mistakes living life

_She can't possibly understand_ they think But just once I wish they would try me give me a chance.
