The Man Who Wasn't
Jobe panicked. He thought _This is it, Jobe, you've finally gone nuts. It's not like you didn't see it coming. Uncle Tom was locked up, maybe it's genetic. And with Mary.. and work.. a mental breakdown makes sense. Well, if that's the case, I best get help._
Dashing from his spot in line, Jobe ran out to the street. Scanning the passerbys, franticly looking for a familiar face, or an officer, someone who could help him. Stepping out of a cab, he saw Carl, from the office. "Hey Carl!" he shouted, waving his arms like the lunatic he was.
"Jobe! What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost!" said Carl approaching cautiously.
"I'm- Well, Carl, I'm having a psychotic break. I'm crazy, and I need to be put away! You've gotta help me" Jobe begged.
"Whoa, calm down. Why do you think you're crazy?" asked Carl.
"Do you see a man in a blue business suit standing next to me?"
Looking around, Carl replied "No.. do you?"
_Oh_ Jobe thought. "No.. I was.. just sure that every one else did. Guess I'm ok after all."
