Change

I pulled away a little, laughing ever so slightly as I wiped away my tears. I took him in properly, "You've changed a bit" I said smiling slightly.

Zeke smiled, reached out and pushed a stray strand of my loose hair behind my ear. "You haven't" he said, his eyes seeming to drink me in as I did him.

"Yes I have" I said snapping a little. "Sorry" I continued looking at the floor, not wanting to see the judgement in his eyes.

He reached out, taking my hand in his. "Not in my eyes you haven't" he said, the side of his mouth pulling upwards into a half smile.

My mind turned to more pressing matters and time was short. "How did you find me?" I asked, still amazed that he had.
