Context is Everything

We all have a favorite sound or scene... something that brings us great peace. The sound of my older dog when she walks on the kitchen floor, the view from my favorite spot to hike... you know what I"m talking about. But, to write effectively, we've got to draw on the inspiration and power of those sights and sounds in a challenging or different way. Write a ficly where you take one of your favorite sights or sounds but place it in a context that changes everything. In a comment on the challenge page, drop a quick line about your favorite sight/sound so that we have a reference point.
